After hearing Obama for so long, I trust his judgment & I will not complain over who he chooses |
|
to work in his administration, as long as it's not someone like those two demented degenerates, John McCain or Sarah Palin, and we all know that ain't about to happen.

1. Right, Obama has made the case for his judgement. A bad Obama decision is 2x better than a good Bush |

3. I thought Obama didn't like yes people AND wanted to hear differing opinions? |
|
Or does that only apply to the geniuses in D.C.?

6. I doubt he has chosen any "yes" people. Are you saying he has? |
|
He cannot possibly listen to all 300 million Americans before making any decisions. Don't be getting all huffy because he hasn't called to ask YOUR opinion on things.

5. Ditto. He needs to pick who he thinks is best and we need to |
|
sit back and look at how things proceed once he is actually in office.

7. I agree but with exceptions |

I hated back in 2000 hearing that it was President Bush's Cabinet and the Senate should just approve every one he chose. I always felt that it is our (America's) Cabinet and people should be interested in who fills those slots. I don't much care for either of the two extremes; one side screaming about every decision and the other side taking the freeper position of how dare anyone question Obama.
I think it is fine to discuss which candidate is best suited for SoS and how that selection would shape our foreign policy. I think we would do ourselves even more of a disservice by blindly going along. I don't want to nitpick every choice but I also don't feel a wait and see approach is the wisest either.
