Would Hillary As SoS Hurt Chances For A Health Care Bill?
My main concern about Hillary as SoS was that in Congress, you could expect Hillary to go to the mat to pass a health care bill. Heck, the Bill might even be named after her. However, as Secretary of State, what inflence does Hillary have on health care, her signature issue? Also, does this hurt Obama's efforts to pass such a bill when one of the most forceful advocates for healthcare is in a cabinet position that has nothing to do with healthcare.

1. I wondered about that also.
I did hear that Ted Kennedy had been very busy and back on the hill working on universal health care. Maybe he can take over for her if he is up to it.

2. Are you suggesting only she can solve the healthcare crisis?

3. I Am Suggesting It Is Odd For Her To Be On The Sidelines
On her signature issue. Hillary primary campaign heavily focused on healthcare, and after Obama won the nomination, Hillary herself spoke about the role that she would play in pushing such a bill through congress. Indeed, in supporting Obama, Hillary said that she got a commitment from him to make healthcare a priority. So, my confusion just stems from her own remarks.

4. I would prefer her to head health or head the Senate
