Bill Ayres holds firm in GMA Chris Cuomo "gotcha"attempt
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/14/ayers-on-gma-gop-used-dis_n_143789.html

One of the biggest frustrations for me in this whole campaign has been the Williams Ayres bullshit. Being from the Chicago area and hearing the real story about the "coffee fundraiser starting Obama's campaign", I never understood why this narrative was allowed to get so out of control.
Many times I had heard from Dick Kay, an old retired respected, political reporter in Chicago, that it was a senior state senator from Illinois, Alice Palmer, that had set up all the neighborhood fundraisers for her choice of candidate, Barack Obama, to run for her seat when she stepped down to run for congress. This really wouldn't bother me to much now if it wasn't for the fact that this "campaign strategy of McCain and Palin had created so much hate and lies. And that disgusting lipstick pitbull is still doing it!! I thought when I heard that Ayres was going to be on Good Morning America that it would be an opportunity for the media to address this misinformation and tamp down this hate toward our President elect and set the record straight. Ha! stupid me! Ayers holds his own but it's clear the media still wants to drag out this bullshit narrative.

It's dangerous, reckless, and should stop.

So I wrote to GMA

1. I caught that.
You really shouldn't have expected anything different.

That interview was as predictable as the sun rising in the east.

2. So glad someone is on this..didn't
quite catch the name of who wrote this article but we know the corporatemedia wants to dumb down America like they are so they keep shoving Ayers and palin down our collective throats to name a couple of things they're savage about.

4. There was some MSNBC correspondent who is a reporter from Chicago
On this morning who trashed the interview as well...said that Ayers did fine, but Cuomo was really reaching for a gotcha moment, and it got ridiculous...that Cuomo said something like "When you say it was nothing...it sounds as if it was SOMETHING", which the MSNBC reporter equated with the "How often do you beat your wife?" type of thing.
