Lets be clear. Clinton will be carrying out the Obama foreign policy agenda and not her own. |
|
It is Obama's foreign policy that she will be implementing. I am sure Obama will have other close aides that will have influence almost as much as Hillary. All the talks about Hillary running it her own way is not the way things are going to happen. Obama knows he will be in control; we should come to terms with that also.

1. Rahm and Hillary as the first choices seems like a formidable administration |
|
I think the Republicans ought to start worrying big time if she gets nominated for SOS.
And talk about gobbling up the news cycles. It's Friday for pity sakes. Not a day goes without something "Obama" to chew up the news cycle.

I think you're confusing her with Bill.

5. exactly what policy differences do you divine? |
|
All through the primaries you could barely wedge a thin dime between them on matters of consequence, so what is this apprehension about Hillary's possible exercise of judgment about? Oh, on health care she was more liberal. Apart from that, what ticking time bomb do you see here?

Which do you think will be easier to turn around? Foreign or domestic? The domestic is tanking and the real **** has yet to hit the fan. Hillary and Bill can take the credit for turning around the foreign front and Bill can then start reminding the public that they could do the same for the domestic front if only given the chance. And they will relish every minute of it.
Prediction: This will go down as a VERY bad move on the part of Team Obama.

14. I pray Pres-Obama will keep Bill far away from the white house. |

He can go do more speaking tours and fly around partying with his other millionaire and billionaire buddies for the next 8 years.

15. Bill will make sure that he and Hillary get full credit for turning around |
|
and improving the foreign front and he won't be shy in reminding Americans Hillary could do the same on the domestic front if only she was in charge. Of course, Hillary won't do that. She's a team player, she'll leave the cheer-leading to Bill.
Obama will have given them a great platform from which to launch a 2012 challenge. In all likelihood, the domestic front will be such a mess that even the right-wingers would vote to put the Clintons back in the Whitehouse.

13. That is the bright side, although I don't prefer her for the position |
|
she wont be implementing her own ideas, just Obama's. Also, Biden is going to be heavily involved in negotiations and will basically lead while others below him (including SOS) follow. Plus, if she doesn't follow Obama's direction then she will have to "resign" and make room for someone who will.
