The best choices for the cabinet are Platypuses??? ... |
|
Just kidding...But the best is who ever is the most qualified. I have seen a number of threads on who owes who, and seriously, that might actually work at a different time and place.
But we are in an economic debacle not seen since the Great Depression, (and it is world wide). We are in two wars, and a environmental meltdown.
I don't care what a persons personal identity is, gay, straight, woman, man, every color of the rainbow, Christian, Muslim, Atheist.
I just want the best of the best.. in all their glorious combinations or lack of.
Just the best of the best, so that my son has the chance to have the same opportunities that I had. That this world is a safe place to live for his grandchildren.
Just the best of the best. Whoever it is.

The criminals need to be rounded up, tried, convicted, stripped of their ill gotten wealth and serve L-O-N-G prison sentences.
Those guilty of War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity, War Profiteering, etc., need to be turned over to the World Court, preferably after being tried and convicted of their crimes in this country.
The World outside their 8X10 cells need to remain only a memory for the rest of their lives.
Anything short of this and they will be back again and again and again...

2. well your post probably deserves its own thread outside of here. |

I was basically opining on the cabinet choices. But we do seem to do down the same rat hole ever 10 or 15 years.

4. I have to agree. Long sentences for their crimes just might serve as |
|
a deterrent for future criminals. Oh, and let's get some voter fraud/theft/disenfranchisement laws that have some friggin' teeth.

5. I couldn't agree more about the voter fraud problems.. |

when I think about all those republican operatives including Bolton, parading as Florida citizens and trying to influence the recount, it just makes my stomach turn.
I know this is chewing over old ground, but I remember Bush saying his brother "promised" him Florida, I knew from that second, the election was going to be stolen

3. I simply HOPE for an outsider/relatively unknown SoS. |

And given that there are probably over 100 people who are qualified, if I was the praying type, I'd be praying that someone who has never been a Senator will get the job. We've never had a Senator before - I have no idea why we would need one now.

6. Well then Richardson would be more of someone who |
|
would fill your bill. I am fine with him also.
