OneThing Palin And Obama Have In Common
They've gone as far in government as they're going to go (after he is sworn in that is).

B-)

1. I wouldn't count on that for Ms. Palin
greed and utter supidity are the cornerstones of a GOP candidate

4. Oh, yeah? Remember Nixon?
A lot of people counted him out in '60, when he lost to Kennedy. And then, like a dead body in a lake, he popped up in '68 to win the Presidency. This woman is an ambitious as Nixon was, and twice as diabolical, I believe.

5. Dawgmom, first thing.........
is that your pup in your avatar, because he/she is adorable.

And secondly, you are so right about Palin. I cannot understand for the life of me why so many think A)Palin is done and over in politics or B)How it would be such a hoot if she ran in 2012, b/c Obama would wipe the floor with her.

I'm of the mind set that I never want to see this woman ever, ever again in an elected office after her term as Governor. She is everything that is wrong with this country and thought of her getting anywhere near a seat of power freaks me out.

We ignore her or ONLY laugh at her, at our own peril.

6. Because she isnt fooling the people that matter
you can be the champion of idiots all you want you still wont get to be top dog unless the other power brokers believe you can do it. The more she speaks the more ridiculous she becomes and bush has given fair warning to many that when they speak like idiots they likely are idiots.

The wave of conservatives abandoning ship at the end should have told you al you need to know about Palin and her chances of a future. Dont confuse press coverage with support.

9. 64% of Republicans want her to be the 2012 nominee and as you know
Republican primaries are winner take all.

I venture to say that the level of positive emotion and excitement on the right rivals the same many here on DU and other Dems felt for Obama. And look what he did....he took down the Clinton machine.

We ignore her at our own peril.

7. That's my Buddy --
Edited on Sat Nov-15-08 03:22 PM by dawgmom
Thanks. The Sammy in the the picture isn't actually mine -- but looks almost exactly like Buddy, my male Samoyed.

And I agree. Never count anybody out in politics. What's that old expression, about the only thing that will kill you in politics is to be caught in bed with a dead girl, or a live boy? She will re-invent herself, if the party ends up going more to the center. I don't count her out at all.

10. They both look like men?
Except Palin's jawline is far more rugged and square.
