Secretary of State: Hillary Clinton

National Security Advisor: Bill Richardson

Secretary of Treasury: Larry Summers or Warren Buffet

Secretary of Defense: Robert Gates (interim), Chuck Hagel

Secretary of Education: Colin Powell

Secretary of Energy: Phil Sharp

Attorney General: Eric Holder

Secretary of Health and Human Services: Julie Gerberding

EPA Administrator: Kathleen McGinty

Secretary of Commerce: Kathleen Sebelius'

Secretary of the Interior: Lincoln Chafee

Secretary of Veterans Affairs: Max Cleland

Secretary of Homeland Security: Tom Daschle

UN Ambassador: Al Gore

Secretary of Labor: Dan Tarullo

Secretary of HUD: Shirley Franklin

3. I think RFK would be a great in that position
but it seems like too much of a pipe dream. The pick doesn't seem realistic to me.

2. That works.
I was hoping for Tammy Duckworth as vet affairs but then, she might be appointed to his senate seat. I'd like to see Krugman and Reich in there somewhere. Reich already did Labor -- Krugman would be senior advisor.

I'm not so sure about Richardson being National Security advisor? I think I see Richard Clark for that position.

11. The point is that Obama is the one in charge
the list I have is probably the most competent people we have. We can't have a bunch of outsiders that know jackshit about how to get things done. The point is to have a highly intellectually diverse cabinet that can openly and constructively challenge each other.
