Hope this isn't a dupe. I checked the board and didn't see this poll. Anyhow it's wonderful news for Wes and his supporters!

9. I don't remember seeing it. But I haven't been around much.
I heard about it on satellite radio today for the first time.

10. Bush outpolls Clark, let's vote for him instead....
That's the mentality around here. Clark is more "electable" so let's vote for him. Bush is more electable than Clark, so let's give him four more. Clark is another agressive militarist who has led unilateral war in the past and supported it in Iraq. Why we are nominating someone so antihetical to the principles we stand for is something perhaps the DLC will explain to us after they're through manipulating the primary results.

11. The straws are sore from all the pulling.
Any more excuses?

Clark, a true American patriot and a true American leader.

12. That Is an Ignorant Statement
Clark is more liberal than Dean, and less likely to go to war than someone who has not seen the horrors of war firsthand.

Only Clark and Kucinich have talked about CUTTING the defense budget. Only Clark is explicitly willing to raise taxes on the super-rich ABOVE what they were during the Clinton years. Only Clark has favored cutting taxes on poor and middle-class families with children, even beyond what they are now.

I advise you to educate yourself further, because the statement you make above is a weak and untrue talking point, IMO.

14. That's certainly not my only reason, but it is important.
Here are some of my OTHER reasons for supporting Clark:

1.) He's a true liberal, with the values I admire and respect.
2.) He's a true leader. This man led a coalition of international forces against a despotic genocidal killer, and WON.
3.) I see the future of America as very bright and hopeful under a Clark presidency. This is in dark contrast to the nightmare I envision if * steals,or actually wins, another one.
4.) I simply LIKE Clark better than Dean. This point wouldn't trump the other ones, but it needs to be said.

16. Yes, Clark is a true liberal...
with his support of school vouchers and the flag burning amendment. Dean is not liberal because he has sensible positions on gun control and trade.

Look, I'm tired of the "true liberal" crap. Dean and Clark are both liberal on most issues and moderate or conservative on others, like most Democrats.

DK is the only one who seem to take the "true liberal" position on *everything*.
