SNL opening skit parody of Joe Biden |
|
Edited on Sat Nov-15-08 11:33 PM by jenmito
He's saying that he could be just as entertaining as Sarah Palin...the only thing he can't do is wink.

6. Yeah! I just added that to my OP! They have to parody HIM since there's nothing |
|
really funny about Obama. He's just cool, smart, and non-make-fun-of-able.

11. The SNL character is not right for Biden..they need someone else |
|
Biden smiles a lot, but he is a distinguished-looking and dignified man, even when he's saying what might be considered the wrong thing.
The SNL character is not even close in his impersonation.

12. So far, the worst SNL I've seen in a long time |

and lowers the bar to the lowest.

14. I respectfully disagree. |

It's strange, because I'm laughing my ass of at a lot of the stuff. Normally I don't. I think Paul Rudd is the funniest guest host they've had in ages and Justin Timberlake is hilarious. Maybe it's just me. :-)
Just my two cents.

Best SNL in ages. Nothing quite beats the Palin stuff, but one of the best overall shows in a loooooooooong time.
Rudd and Timberlake are both really talented, and Beyonce is a great music guest (and she actually sings, go figure!). The three of them, in the dancing skit, it was great. Timberlake was outdancing Beyonce for a second there!

I've been watching SNL off and on since it's inception, and considering the fact that Tina isn't doing Palin anymore, and Amy Poehler is gone too, I thought it was a really, really funny show tonight. Seth did very well, IMO, solo on Weekend Update. Who woulda thunk??? I had no clue Paul Rudd was that funny, and Justin Timberlake was hysterical on Weekend Update and in the skit with Beyonce.
I think overall it was one of the best shows in ages. I'm very pleasantly surprised.

13. Don't miss Justin Timberlake 55 minutes into the show! |
|
He had a good three minute segment about there.
