1. Miller has degraded mentally to the point that he can finally...
call himself an ultra conservative Republican, and they can have him if they think he can win elections.

It's laughable that he claims his party "left him", I'm pushing 60, and I've never seen the Democratic party that Zell woefully laments.

Maybe that's how it was in 1944 when he was governor.
Hahaha... What an asshole.

3. He's really getting senile, he didn't even notice the misspeak after all of the laughter
He just kept on ranting and raving about how liberal Jim Martin is.

4. If he were my dad, I would have taken the car keys after he challenged Matthews to that duel
I seriously don't think he's all there, and wonder why the Republicans still consider him a useful tool. He clearly doesn't ruffle Democratic feathers anymore, and I wouldn't think he's a asset for anyone's campaign.

Using Zell as a tool is like taking apart and fixing a broken toaster with a hammer. You'll get half the job done, but people will wonder what the hell you were thinking.

2. Remember he's the guy that claimed in 2004 that the Democrats were "A National Party" no more

and were so durn lib'rul that they were going to be clobbered by the GOP for generations to come.
The only way to remain remotely competitive as Dems was to do a 180 like Zell, become unhinged, and adopt reichwing radio's lines.

He was right. We are so screwn.

How ironic that Zell, who claimed the Dems were over, is now the one forced to come out of his padded cell and beg his home state to be the last line of defense from the new Democratic supermajority

5. If someone printed that map on t-shirts, or
appliqued it onto sweatshirts, I would buy one.

It is a beautiful thing!
