My husband just said -"What if McCain had won"
My heart just sank - imagine how we'd all be feeling. (Us and the rest of the world).

3. We didn't end up in that Universe.
I am not going to look back. I'm not really a religious person, but do concede that there is some weird stuff out there we can't explain. After election night in 2000, I had this weird feeling I was catapulted into an alternate, parallel Universe. After the election in 2008, I felt as if things were righted again. The human mind is amazing in how it processes unexpected events. I suppose I made up a story and continue to do so, but it works for me.

7. You are so right
It was like a convulsion in the space-time continuum. Bush should NEVER have been allowed within a million miles of the White House.

9. Can you imagine how many erratic financial plans he would have come up with
in the past week? Not to mention rogue Sarah. We REALLY dodged a bullet.

I know that nobody's perfect, but I trust Obama way more to deal with the tough issues.

Edited on Sun Nov-16-08 10:14 PM by Beacool
Between Bush and McCain, I'll take McCain. If we survived Bush (barely, but we're still here), then we definitely would survive McCain.

Sarah Palin on the other hand......... :scared:

21. My husband would be working out a way to expatriate us to
Italy, permanently. Me, I'd hedge my bets on my "unfaith" and be saying novenas that McCain didn't end up with a "nasty fall" or something that put Palin in charge.
