Hal Holbrook for Secretary of State
He was already an Assistant Secretary of State.

He has also been a judge, a Congressman, a senior partner in a law firm, a Senator, a Sheriff and much, much more.

This could really work.

Hal Holbrook's Amazing Resume

11. He was in the movie "Girls Nite Out."
Yes, that's how it's spelled. Anyway, he stinks in it along with everyone else in the movie, but generally he's a good actor.

garage to push Robert Redford to "follow the money," it was one of the most chilling performances ever registered in the history of film, IMO.

A stunning performance.

Very, very good in many roles, but stunning as "Deep Throat" in ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN.
