3. I just saw a picture of him sitting with McCain
He looked so presidential sitting next to McCain. McCain was just cheesing, feeling all self-important. But Obama is the next president. Obama was smiling like: I got this! Now McCain, after calling Obama a scary blackmansocialistterroristcommie, flew in to Chicago to have a chance to meet with Obama.

How he chumps people on the national stage is a work of beauty.

4. Think McCain referred to him as President Elect Obama?
He ought to have.

8. The real question is whether McCain looks Obama in the eye since it was so hard in the past.

It takes quite a lot to face a man who (along with his running mate) stirred up the hate in the crowd enough for the rise in death threats. It also requires a lot of presence of mind to meet with a man who has so openly disrespected you in the Senate as well as on the campaign trail. The meeting also shows that Mr. Obama is a man of great generosity along with a powerful, erudite political acumen.

It also says something that Obama did not ask to meet with Sarah Palin.

10. There was no reason for him to ask for a meeting with Palin.
He didn't run against her.

She's not a senator.

She can't help or hurt his agenda getting through congress.

She's nobody.

11. True. You get no argument from me over that.
I'd also add that she's political dynamite--especially with her need to be in front of the camera every second as well as her extremist views.

She is no one. Hopefully, Alaska will get the message and help ease this woman out of power for the common good.
