1. I used to hope for John Edwards...
...but I think that's probably dead.

What about Patrick Fitzgerald or David Iglesias?

20. I hope she gets the job
She's a former state AG, a former US Attorney, tough and compassionate.

Her office helped me out when I was sheparding a crime victim's rights bill through the NH legislature. She has long been a leader in the area of victims rights, and her staff was fantastic.

29. I personally would like Tim Kaine but he's expressly ruled it out until 2010
the Lt. Gov of VA is a Republican so he won't serve until his term is up.

although I've heard her name for the Supreme Court too. Janet Napolitano is the name I seem to hear the most.

9. Chelsea Clinton.
I know she hasn't trained as a lawyer and has no qualifications but I get such a kick out of so many who go into fits at the mention of the word "Clinton".

You'd think this was the Free Republic site.

27. Vincent Bugliosi would kick some ass
Unless...does the AG ever have dealings with the Supreme Court? If so, there would be something of a conflict of interest since Bugliosi wrote that book exposing the sham 2000 decision that led to the nightmare of the last 8 years.

Ha, that would be fun too...appointing Bug to the Supreme Court when the time came to put someone new in there.

I love Vincent Bugliosi and want him in our government.
