I doubt that many would be willing to change Presidents in the midst of a depression.
Our party wont oppose his nomination, and the GOP might throw up someone stupid and unimportant like Palin to be the sacrificial lamb.

The difference is that Obama will actually do something about it, rather than pull a Hoover. Plus, I don't think we'll see a "Great Depression," per se, rather, we'll just see a deflated economy.
