1. Damn skippy!
If I don't see a puppy appointed to the office of First Dog soon I'll become a clingy bitter! Like you said in your speech, we've earned our new puppy. :)

2. "If Obama can't settle on a puppy - what chance does he have in larger decisions?"

5. Obama should get a.........
Komondor

I'm pretty sure they are hypoallergenic and would be a first as far as presidential dogs are concerned.

8. Lol I wonder what Fox would come up with.....
Probably something like "Obama's presidential dog pick is a Komondor, but whats he trying to hide under all those dreads? terrorists? find out tonight." or something equally ridiculous, anyways I'm not sure how they see with all the hair in their face but yea they are cute and rare I have NEVER seen one in person.

9. I agree with the Obamas
They should wait until after they move and settle in. Right before you move is not the time to be getting a puppy.

I have a litter of puppies due in January who will be ready for homes in late March, LOL!

Puppies:

And adults:

Shibas are the cutest dogs in the world, but they are not hypoallergenic, unfortunately. And I have my doubts as to whether or not the Obamas could handle a Shiba, LOL! They are very difficult dogs.

If anyone's been watching the "puppycam" that's all over the web, those are Shiba puppies. I do a puppy cam on every litter I have but I've never had that many people watching!

10. Obama stands by getting the dog when they move to the WH
as promised to his kids. So once more no drama Obama stands by the reponsible act of waiting until the family is settled rather than moving a dog from temperary housing. He stands by this promise in the face of great public pressure to get a dog now and even a specific dog.

:hi:
