OMG... and Lieberman's excuse for the half-scratched off bumper sticker? It was
scraped off by another vehicle when "bumped" by it.
OK DUers, has that ever happened to YOUR bumper sticker? So, if the "bump" had enough force to scratch off the bumper sticker, where are the other damages to his car? AND, scratching off a sticker involves a SIDE-to-SIDE motion not the compressive force of a "bump"
He is SO FULL OF SHIT... he doesn't even have the COURAGE of his own convictions? Dems HAVE to nail his ass to the wall. PLEASE.
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/sleuth/2008/11/what_happened_to_joe_lieberman.htmlA Senate aide reports to the Sleuth: "I was in my car on Constitution Avenue in front of the National Gallery waiting for the light to change when I noticed that lo and behold who but Joe Lieberman himself was in the car sitting next to me. He was being driven by a young male staffer and was furiously scrolling through his blackberry. When the light turned green, they pulled ahead of me and I saw a McCain 2008 sticker on the rear bumper, half scratched off!"
The (snarky) Senate aide added, "Just in time for that secret ballot vote I guess."
Having confirmed that the bumper sticker was, indeed, half scratched off, we wondered if Lieberman did want to remove all traces of "McCain for President" from his person before facing a jury of his Democratic colleagues this week. After all, why would he want to remind his liberal colleagues why they no longer like him?
But a source knowledgeable about the fate of Lieberman's bumper sticker assures us Senator Lieberman had nothing to do with its removal. In fact, no one (person) scratched it off the car, he insists.
The McCain bumper sticker, according to the Lieberman source, was "merely scraped by another car" that accidently backed into Lieberman's vehicle. (Oh, Hadassah's car?) Furthermore, the source says, the accidental bumper sticker removal occurred "sometime prior to the election." In other words, when Lieberman thought he still had a shot at becoming secretary of state in a McCain administration.
