1. I absolutely hate Liebermann as much as anyone

but I don’t think he’ll be able to do anything to undermine Obama. We got bigger problems to deal with.

3. You are right. We do have bigger problems. But I believe that Lieberman is such a petty egomaniac,
that he will make it, and already has made it his mission to hurt Democrats. I hope you are right.

2. Depends
If he plans to retire after this term (he'll be 70 at the end of it) then we may see something within the next four years. Although if he plans to run for re-election I don't think we'll see anything for at least 4 years because of his own self interest. The risk of losing your chair is one thing. The risk of losing your senate seat, will be very high in a year when you're running for re-election at the same time as the guy who won your state by 21 pts the previous election cycle, will also be up for re-election. All he needs to do is threaten to endorse his democratic opponent (which he may already have threatened in exchange for cooperation) and he'll fall in line for at least 4 years I think. I still want him to be stripped though.

4. He won't be ABLE to undermine Obama
because he's going to switch to the GOP, lose his chairmanship, and not be in a position to do anything.
