the way to be rewarded is to be a total douche, campaign for a fucking idiot who wants to stay in Iraq for a hundred years. Say deplorable and horrible things about the DEMOCRAT while humping Moosekillers leg - never hold a single oversight hearing for the Homeland Security Committee that you oversee - in other words instead of doing your job you spend THAT time trying to get a fucking incompetent piece of shit elected to the WH while discrediting YOUR OWN.
It's all clear now.
LIEBERMAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT PACKING.
I am livid.

2. Lieberman was not rewarded - he got nothing he didn't have before |
|
However, it is true he was not punished for supporting a different presidential candidate.

5. He is not being rewarded? |
|
You must be kidding.
He hasn't done shit while holding the position as chair of the committee. he has however done everything he could do to make sure that we got four more years of BUSH.

8. It's not even that he supported McCain--I can get over that man-crush. |
|
It's that he supported the GOP in general, even in down-ticket races. It's one thing to believe that one particular guy (McCain) was the better choice for one particular office (out of frienship or loyalty or philosophical differences on foreign policy)--could have been done without bashing Obama or other Democrats--but he essentially adopted a general anti-Dem attitude. That was unforgiveable, IMO.

6. Wish it wasn't secret. I'd love to know how Carper voted. |
|
Bet he voted 'for' the guy, even though he put on a show to his constituents.

10. I'm very disappointed and even a bit disillusioned by this. |
|
They need to explain to this party why they are allowing a traitor to stay AND keep an important seat.
