Which two senators spoke up against Lieberman?
http://greenmountaindaily.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=3642

This just in... our sources say that the Dem caucus has voted to allow Lieberman to keep his Chairmanship of the Homeland Security Committee.

The vote was 43-12 to allow Lieberman to keep thechair.

With 55 votes, the new members were obviously all in attendance.

Apparently only two Senators spoke in favor of removing Lieberman (and they are both from the same State).

More to follow...

Any guesses?

12. I would like to think so, but I doubt it.
Obama wanted them to vote yes and I am betting they did.

15. I doubt it
Kerry was on the same page as Obama when he was a surrogate on the last MTP before the election - the question then was Leiberman remaining in the Democratic conference. He is also very non-vindictive.

11. I am proud, but to be quite honest, I'd expect them both to speak
out against Lieberman during the meeting. They said they would.

10. Isn't it odd how an independent like Bernie is willing to speak up?
But not members of our own party?

but probably not.
