I love President-Elect Obama but wish he would have stayed out of Lieberman matter
especially since he resigned his senate seat on Sunday. I know why he spoke out, and his reasoning, but it's a senatorial matter and I think his advice to the senate did hold a lot of water with why Lieberman is still in place. I think while it's important to look ahead and not behind, that we have to try and show party discipline. I couldn't imagine a democratic senator not only endorsing Barry Goldwater and campaigning for him in 1964, and LBJ saying, "Oh, let's let bygones be bygones."

1. I understand why, too, BUT he happened to USE two senators who LOATHE Lieberman to help him
thereby compromising THEIR better judgement....so Obama BETTER have a damn good NEED to have kept that prick.
