4. I interpret that to mean that Reid "trust" the Lieberman will vote
as the Dems wish for him to vote or lose his chairmanship immediately. That was the deal. To put it another way, "I have confidence that Lieberman will do as he is told because the consequences of doing otherwise are not what Lieberman wants".
