I HATE, HATE, HATE!! Joe Lieberman |
|
I obviously have no control in Washington. For better or for worse, he survives to fight another day. It is deeply saddening to me that he was allowed to get away with his disloyal and mean spirited attacks against Obama.
The Dem leadership and by extension the newly powerful Obama team have shown not only domestic opponents but also foreign enemies that this administration can be pushed around in the name of accomodation.
I don't like this one bit.

4. well, I'm pretty agreeable and give Obama trust on a lot |
|
but I feel this one is more far-reaching in implications than just "playing well with others". I want a spirit of bipartisanship. I'd be okay with Chuck Hagel having a spot in an Obama administration.
But what Joe did? It seems this invites people to think they can run over the Dems whenever they want and then say nice things later to get back in good graces.
All I know is I will be watching Joe's behavior and statements in the senate VERY CLOSELY

5. Hating takes a lot of energy, and is so "conservative". |
|
We have a lot of "conservative" generated damage to fix. If Lieberman can help us, great. If he causes trouble he can be quickly introduced to the wheels of the bus.

6. Imagine you ran a committee, and appx 20% |
|
of the folks there trusted you enough to turn their backs, even momentarily.
It's going to be a chilly job, chairing homeland security under a government that does not scream "Terrah" at its citizens.
but that does not stop me from visualizing his head dissolving over the space of say, 30 seconds.
