Can someone here please post rules about when and what people can complain about??? |
|
I am not sure what it is OK to complain about. Before the election, it was out of line to complain about the FISA vote. Now it seems that complaining about the Lieberman slap on the wrist is also not a valid complaint.
Please give us a list of the type of thing the DU will allow to be "VALID COMPLAINTS' Thanks!

1. Go to Freerepublic circa 2001-2007 |
|
Replace "Bush" with "Obama".
Anything that got people banned for complaining about related to Bush there will probably get you castigated here.

7. No one is saying you don't have the right to complain. They are just criticizing your decision to. |
|
There's a difference between saying "You have no right to complain about Obama" and "Why do you keep whining about Obama."

8. But some people post about peoples' posts. |
|
As in "stop posting about blah blah". Why do some people feel the need to try to tell other people what to do? They want to be boss of the forum it seems.
I don't get that kind of mentality.

9. If they don't have a little mod icon, just ignore them |
|
Folks on forums are always going to demand that such-and-such a topic not be discussed, or that it be discussed only in specific ways. If they don't have the authority to enforce that sort of demand, though, then treat it as the self-absorbed noise it generally is.
There's plenty of things I wish weren't discussed (or were), or things I wish were discussed more or less than they are, but I've no business making demands of people to accomodate me there and see no reason to respect others' decision to do so unless they've got reason to.

10. Yes: If your concern links up with Drudge, David Gregory, and |
|
the rightwing's concerns... then that is not allowed. :)
