1. I feel sick watching the Cabinet fill up with DLCers.
Queasy and uneasy.

9. No, actually they're much worse
Because they'll push the exact same corporatist & Likud sucking bullshit policies that the Repukes do, but then Mush Limpdick and Sean Hannity will call it "Liberalism" anyway. :puke:

3. I prefer the extra vote for the dems to the satisfaction of revenge
Particularly since Obama seemed to want to be magnanimous in victory

6. Not happy, but I've been wrong before
I was worried about if he could hold up to Rovian tricks. Obama did. After the Repuke convention, I wanted him to attack more. He didn't need to. So he has earned trust.

13. I feel the same way, to a degree. Still, Obama never said he wanted Joe to hang on to his chair.
Edited on Tue Nov-18-08 07:16 PM by Dr Fate
All he ever said was that Joe should retainhis position...

I think there is an effort to paint some DUers as anti-change or even Anti-Obama b/c they dont think Joe should keep his chair...

7. I keep watching the clip of shithead at the RNC
and I remain pissed as hell. I'd like to see him punished, damn the consequences. However, I am willing to listen to arguments and change my view.

8. Yes, I thought Obama should have remained neutral
even though I could see him not calling for Lieberman's ousting. But the Senate's decision really disturbs me because I know Lieberman will not be loyal.

10. I'm pissed off. But I'm not mad at Obama about it. And I'm not mad that he
disagrees with me. I think his position is honorable. And I think he has a way to deal with Joe Lieberfuckingtraitor.

Even so, I would have liked to see Joe lose his chairmanships.

Funny how the two things can coexist. I don't like Lieberman staying put AND it's cool that Obama disagrees with me.

11. It makes me question how moral these people are.
They should have done the right thing and kicked Lieberman out. He's already a Republican anyway. His caucus vote wouldn't be worth it.

12. Did Obama ever say that Lieberman should retain his chair?
If not- then what does this have to do with Obama's judgment?

(Note to mods-Not stalking-just interested in Lieberman threads)

14. Considering he votes Dem 90% of the time, its foolish to want to see him out of the party
Yeah, his personality sucks, but you have to take what you can get.

15. The Senate Dems will regret it -- and probably do already.
Joe will go on playing his games until he's stopped -- either by getting his chair or his seat yanked, whichever comes first.

19. I am numb
I fully expected it. Anyone paying attention to the Dems these last two years should have, too, IMHO.

Truth is, I have so much anxiety about a brazillion other things going on, I just can't spare even one ounce of emotion on this particular situation.
