I'm comfortable with any of Obama's cabinet picks, but we should have clowned Lieberman. |
|
That guy has had it coming for years now- and I don't believe that a possible 60th Senate vote is worth ignoring his ultra-DLC campaigning.
I think tossing him aside would have been much more powerful- it would have shown confidence, no fear of the filibuster. It would have demonstrated the mandate that Obama, in fact, does have. And, coming from deep blue Connecticut, it would have been up to Joe to stay true with that mandate.
I have much confidence that Obama is going to pick a sectioned cabinet- the key is multiple tribes over which Obama rules, as the glue- but this was a mistake. Lieberman should have been punished harshly in a show of strength.

2. She just needs to be counterbalanced, is all. |

She is a strong leader- I agree with giving her a strong position. She- as well as her husband- will help us rebuild ties with the rest of the world.

3. I agree with you on this. |

Bill Clinton is very well liked and revered internationally. It's a good choice to undo the damage Bush has done to us globally.

4. What drama are you referring to? |
|
There is no drama except that created by the media. Turn off the TV!

what he did is unforgivable. Harsh treatment is in order and he should be punished. I am disappointed, but not surprised, by the vote today.
