I hate Eric "Chiquita Death Squad" Holder as much as the next liberal, but I'll give him a chance. |

I'm disappointed in Holder's appointment, as there are many other candidates who didn't defend multinational corporations who employed anti-labor death squads. Someone on the judiciary committee better fucking ask him about this shit during the confirmation hearing.
When is the base gonna get a bone thrown their way? Christ.

4. I agree. There is little doubt that he was intentionally targeted. |
|
not saying he is pure as the driven snow...but his "crime" was leaked to the press, and prosecuted in a way that was meant to take him out.

12. Yes, that $3500 an hour call girl hunted him down and lept onto his genitals. |
|
This guy was my governor, and I voted for him, so I think I'm entitled to say this: he was an adult and he knew better. Does the fact that it came out mean that David Vitter was also selectively attacked? Spitzer did the thing that gets any high official in trouble: he thought he could get away with it.
And Spitzer wasn't prosecuted.

And was a big Obama booster during the primary.
The fact is that even most of the people who stuck with Obama from the beginning, if they worked in Washington during the '90s, they had ties to the Clinton Admin.
He's also been VERY outspoken against torture, "enhanced interrogation," rendition, and shutting down Gitmo.

never.
never have liberals EVER been given a bone for anything we do.
which is why some progresses bought into nader in 2000.
sometimes it just feels like the party could give to shits about its base... i suppose its done in favor seeming impartial...
