11. Supporting Lieberman is like supporting Pétain and the Vichy regime |
|
The day that Lieberman sticks his dagger in Obama's back, Obama will have no one to blame but himself. I won't shed any tears for someone that was so shortsighted that he failed to see the clear and present danger of keeping Lieberman in charge of Homeland Security committee.
Elections have consequences, and political decisions have consequences as well!

12. OK, but why does that make Reid ineffective? I mean, he basically supports Obama's position. |

Would he be less of a "loser" by publicly opposing Obama on this?

Not a Harry fan or a Pelosi fan. I've been profoundly disappointed in both. I think it's time to stop doing business the same way we always have----I'm tired of the GOP playing us for chumps--and of us being the chumps.

15. I CANNOT believe that Reid said "Joe LIeberman is a Democrat". |
|
NO. He was thrown out of the Democratic Party here in CT and ran on his own little independent ticket. The Democratic Party in CT nominated Ned Lamont as its candidate!
Harry Reid's lie is a crime...

21. I don't see anybody with the stature or "gravitas" to run against him... |
|
The Dem/puke party does NOT plan to "allow" anybody to run against him...they didn't even field a candidate against the REPUKE ensign! (well, not till just a few weeks BEFORE THE ELECTION!!!)...
Nevada is a closed party state...very difficult to ask questions at a party meeting let alone get new/better blood...
I live in Henderson...

25. Why stop at Reid, all those smilimg faces behind Lieberman should go. |
|
Makes me sick, Dick Durbin and the rest can all go fuck themselves. Why should a principled guy like Ned Lamont every run again, he's not part of the club, the Democrats will just shove it up his ass to help another club member. Fuck the Senate Democrats, except for Leahy of course. And I wish I knew the other 12 brave Democratic Senators but the Senate Democratic leadership is too corrupt to have an open vote on Lieberman.
