1. WHOOO signed up for "unity"?
I'm a DEMOCRAT... I question my leaders... If I wanted to march in lock step and not question them, I'd be a Republican..

:)

4. What was it that Will Rogers said, when asked of his political affiliation?
"I don't belong to any organized party. I'm a Democrat."

9. Its curious your assumption.....
I am furious at some of early decisions.....What is interesting is that Obama ran on uniting and DU is more divided since I first came here.

btw, I never walk lockstep....but damn, I wish there were more progressives in our ranks

7. If true, thank the spineless Senate DEMS. They could have unified the base like no other.
Edited on Tue Nov-18-08 10:15 PM by Dr Fate
All they had to do was fucking PRETEND to oppose Joe Fucking Lieberman's incompetency & dishonesty.

I don't think this will destroy the party at all- I think most DEMS will move on- but if this destroyed our unity, I wouldnt blame rank & file DEMS who dont trust Lieberman- I'd blame DC DEMS who pretend that this is such a great idea...
