1. we shall see what we shall see
did they do it?

did they help cover up murder?

did they facilitate expanded contracts etc?

no doubt in my military mind

will it go anywhere and will it get national air time?

we shall see.

happy to recommend

it's all very sad, but this IS juicy good

2. I love this guy--Juan Angel Guerra! When the local corrupt police state dragons
went after him, he parked himself at the courthouse in a camper with a horse, three goats and a rooster, to ridicule his evil persecutors, who had raided his house. All charges against him were dismissed by the judge who will likely review the Grand Jury indictment of Cheney, Gonzales and others, and who deemed the special prosecutor appointment to "get" Guerra as improper. Guerra has been after these 'prison-industrial complex' bad guys for years. But as he said, he simply followed the money--and that led to Cheney. He presented the evidence to a Grand Jury. They indicted.

Unfortunately--if the Texas voting machines can be trusted (a mighty big IF)--he lost his recent election, and has only a month left in office. Just like the Bushwhacks. But he can go out in the proud knowledge that he fought them to the very end, refused to be intimidated and has now exposed this cesspool of private prison corruption to the whole world. The first to indict Cheney! God love him and bless him!

3. You notice they indicted them while bush still has time to pardon them.
They couldn't wait for another two months, could they?

Any fool would question the sincerity of this indictment. If they meant it, they would have waited.

5. The guy is leaving office in a month (voted out). It was now or never.
(Voted out on Texas 'TRADE SECRET' code voting machines, that is. Very iffy.) Most of the news articles made that clear. This was his parting shot at the fuckwads who have profited from private prisons, and covered up prison deaths, prison beatings and horrendous corruption, all the way up to Dick Cheney. He had no choice but to do it now. He did all the investigation and took it to the Grand Jury. Don't know if the next prosecutor will carry it through effectively, but at least Guerra exposed this corruption and crime.

6. It's state charges. Bush can't pardon them.
Presidential pardons are a federal matter only.
