I mean, after all, Obama is apparently moving this country to the right because he disagrees with some people on one issue or appointment. He may as well go all the way if people are going to accuse him of doing it.

But then people will say "Oh no -- I'm perfectly fine with disagreement. But on --some particular issue or appointment here--, there is no room for compromise.

Seriously. For those posters on DU now despairing over the thought of an Obama presidency, keep in mind that for every particular thing Obama does that you don't like, there are 1000 other positions he holds that you do like. Leaving Iraq. Making the tax code more fair. Positions that unite us all, and positions that are a significant change from the Bush administration.
