the Weekly Reader election correctly predicted the outcome for the 2008 presidential election. Obama won over 54% of the vote in their election.

Great article for the kids. Discussed reasons why Obama won, including unemployment, struggling economy, etc. Gave good information on Barack Obama's biography.

5. I'm 21 and we had Weekly Reader in elementary school
So us younger folks should be familiar with it.

6. I'm 64 and I had the Weekly Reader in grade school.
I think Johannes Gutenberg started it to help pay for his invention.

3. Think I was in the 3rd or 4th grade when the Weekly Reader
was first published. I remember the teachers making a really big deal out of it. Let's see that was in 1931-32.
