Word.
Lately, there are a lot of threads concerning Obama administration appointments and rumors. Some have expressed concern about them. I think it is possible to express concern or doubt about some individuals that may get those positions and firmly be behind Obama. While some call this concern about appointments and leaks about what an Obama administration will or will not do after taking office as not being sufficiently loyal, being a liberal "purist" (still don't know exactly what that means), or wishing that Obama isn't inaugurated somehow, as a silly stretch and I think after the last eight years, doubt and concern actually has been earned in some regards to our elected officials. But I'm reminded of those JFK chose such as Johnson or McNamara and realize it may have little to do with the ultimate decisions of the executive. The truth, only time will tell ultimately what those decisions are. Until then though, legitimate discussion including concerns should not be ridiculed. And as I was an Obama delegate, accusing someone such as myself as someone who stirs dissent against him should rethink their position. We're all in this together with our eyes on the same goal. We're just not identical twins.

1. That is reasonable.
Your approach of patience with careful attention is appropriate, and skepticism is justified. Giving the benefit of the doubt, with wait and see.

Some, however, are petulant reactionaries. They are looking at every leak with disgust, disdain and writing off any possibility of success. And, that attitude is baseless ignorance, IMO.

2. My wife views me as radically for Obama in the extreme.
Life is interesting sometimes.:-)

3. I have absolutely no problem with your approach, but sorry
there have been some really ridiculous posts from people who identify themselves as progressives, lambasting Obama and moaning about being betrayed. Interestingly enough, quite a few of these posts, come from those with low post counts.

4. It is wise sometimes to view posts as to questionable intent.

I guess one has to look at the tone to see if it's personally directed at Obama or not.
