He's in it to win it and he ain't giving up til the last vote is counted. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see dems standing up and fighting for justice and fair play against the republican thugs that have been stealing elections for years.

The political climate couldn't be more different than it was in 2000 or 2004. Make no mistake, this new found spirit has a lot to do with the underlying circumstances of the times than it does with the people and their propensities.

8. Off to the Greatest Page - Al Franken got me to DU

When I heard Bill O'Reilly threatening lawsuits over this upcoming book "Lying Liars..." I had to go out and buy it.

I was stunned to find funny and intelligent opinions from a liberal perspective, because they had been so rare in the mainstream media over the previous 10-15 yeras, outside of a few regular op-ed columnists in the NY Times.

So, I figured there had to be others out there like me and did a search on The Google and eventually got here, and I've been here for over 5 years and 25,000 posts now.
