1. Personally, the "Sources" are exhausting me.
They seem to know things that even Prez Elect Obama doesn't know.

she was being vetted for Labor secretary (and he mentioned energy) this morning...so I guess she is being vetted for numerous positions, heh.

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/

"Another governor to keep an eye on today as the next potential "leaked" pick: Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius. The vetting process is well under way for her, and the most likely spot for her appears to be Labor secretary, although she might also wind up at Energy. But Labor makes the most sense, as both the business community and labor seem to be fans."

3. My sources tell me that Sebelius is female.
Other sources assure me that Hillary Clinton is female, too.

6. She's in her 2nd term

5. Energy Sec would be better.
She's doing wonders here in KS with wind power. But, I'd rather see her take Brownback's Senate seat when he retires after this term. It's her's to lose.

13. She has nothing at all to do with the Clintons.
She's strictly out of Kansas politics: legislature, Insurance Commissioner, Governor.

10. He's clearly just mocking the womens groups by chosing so many of them.
Everyone knows Obama is anti-woman.

12. Woo hoo! Sebelius for EdSec was one of my "too good to be true" picks.
I'm glad she's getting a bigger job. She's term-limited of course, and sharp as a razor.

I hope this is true. I just hope that the media isn't jumping at all sorts of rumors.

14. Good, I hope she gets one of those positions. I didn't know too
much about her before this year's campaign, but I saw her a lot on TV as an Obama surrogate and was very impressed with her.

16. I'm sick of whore media speculation
Which, just like Wall Street speculation, only fucks things up worse. Having said that, I don't think a Sebelius appointment would shock anyone, as she's been in the Obama camp for some time.

If she's chosen at Energy, I would hope she's more about wind and other alternatives than trying to replace ExxonMobil with Monsanto and ADM. FrankenCorn based biofuels are not a solution to anything. Time to switch that to another source material.

I guess my other question would be, how does this impact Kansas? Would she be replaced by a Democrat if she left the governor's office? Just as the case with Arizona, it's probably not all that wise to remove Democrats from states where they aren't all that easy to elect.

19. Ehh...Kansas isn't a viable flip so we can afford to take Sebelius
but yeah lets start thinking kelp and hemp for biofuels, not foodstuffs. Corn and even soy are lamebrain concepts and much more limited than other options readily available.

When you fail at reporting the news, you try to create it instead.
