It is totally impossible to satisfy all of the people all of the time!
It is very interesting to read how so many people are upset with Barack for who have him picked so far to work in his cabinet. I understand we elected him to become President, but a big reason for us electing him has to do with us having enough trust in him to appoint the strong people in the right positions. This means, if he is going to appoint former Clinton Administrators in positions, I am going to have to trust that he has thought long and hard about it who he want to appoint to what position.

I have stated many times here that, in my lifetime, Bill Clinton had been the best president, ever! I understand he has done some things that not everyone agrees with (and I am not talking about Monica). But, it is totally impossible to satisfy all of the people all of the time!

I trust that Barack will not be like the current “Decider” who occupies the White House. I trust that if someone or something is not working out, he will make an “Executive Decision” and make a change. I trust he will put someone or something in place that will become an asset.

After all, Barack went up against the great Clinton machine and won. How many politicians can add that to their resumes? He did not do it with all smoke and mirrors! He applied his strategy a came out the victor.

He took on the Republican machine and won. He executed the 50 state strategy that Howard Dean implemented and smashed the dreams of Rethugs all over the world. Now, they are so upset that they are blaming him for any and everything that is wrong with this country. With the most ridiculous being the fall of the stock market.

Barack has weathered a lot of storms! And, that does not include the death of his grandmother the day before he became president-elect. So, if you trusted him then, please do not let the trust sway now! Trust that he will do what he feels is right for this country! Trust that he may not be able to fulfill some of him promises immediately, but trust that eventually, he will be in a position where he will implemented them. Trust he will appoint the strongest most qualified individuals to positions that will start this country on the road back to the 90’S and beyond (Skipping 2001 thru 2008 of course).

1. True that, but if they tried real hard now and then they might do one single thing to satisfy me.
Like maybe prosecute an Administration criminal - how would that be for one single thing they could to to satisfy me?

3. I'm counting on him to live up to his promises
It's far to early to judge him now, before he even takes office. His choices may well end up being brilliant and changing the course of humanity. But it's to early to know, to early to bitch.

5. You're right. I'm sorry. These are hard times.
I feel so sorry for Barack and all he has to do. He may end up just keeping us afloat. That in itself will be hard enough to do.

6. I think expressing a distrust in some of Obama's choices are a good thing
Letting Obama (and those appointments were questioning) know we are expecting a real change in direction, one that goes beyond just moving back towards the big business Clinton era, puts them on notice that were serious about the promises he made that helped us decide to vote for him.

Lock step is the Republican way, they dont expect their politicians to be honest with them, but we do expect them to be true to their promises.

Thats not a bad thing.

7. Exactly right DJ13
There's WAY too much concession in the Democratic party.

There's a reason why the 2006 Congress' approval rating was consistently lower than the failure known as George W. Bush.
Too much folding, rolling over, and conceding ground.

Obama will have to stand strong and turn the entire party around strategically or this whole 2008 election will have been for nothing.
Clinton II just ain't good enough. Not for me. And to make sure this happens I and other people WILL call him on his BS. He's just a man not God Almighty. But a man we elected to fulfill all those promises he made.

If there's a strong ballsy Democrat party again, I MAY just go back to calling myself one instead of just saying I vote with them.
Tired of the wimps.
Democrats with Huevos. Now That's Change I Can Believe In.

9. All I ask is that they realize when the downward spiral of this country began, and act accordingly.
And it was not the day Chimp stole the White House, though admittedly that's when it escalated and became obvious to all but the most terminally clueless.
