I for one find the pardon of Martha Stewart to be the least objectionable. After all, she served an active prison sentence, and lost an incredible amount of money, for doing what others have been doing on Wall Street since the Depression.

There are quite a few listed as being probable which will outrage most of us.

2. Likely Pardon Recipients? Scooter, Texas Border Guards, Michael Milken, and ...

James Tobin, convicted in connection with the 2002 Repub jamming of tel lines on election day in NH.

Of those, Scooter would be the most controversial and yet the most likely to be pardoned IMHO.

Milken was allowed to keep $1bil in assets in the plea arrangement he entered.

Repubs have been scrambling for the Texas Border Guards, who shot an illegal in the back, to be pardoned since day one --even going so far as to introduce a bill in Congress to pardon them.

Tobin was one of the fall guys for the NH dirty trick, but it would be one of the most partisan of pardons if granted.
