2. His royalities will be 0%
His right-wing fruitcake will have to buy it in bulk and sell it for $1 in Newsmax or something...

9. It's sickening that this worthless asshole
got even a dime for his shit story. What will be in that book? How he got laid once?

Sometimes our 'pop culture' is depressing.

10. Seriously? That's hard to believe
I mean it's funny as Hell, but are you serious?

From what I saw Joe's not hooked up with a real publisher. Just some guy who wrote a self-published weirdo religious novel and now fancies himself a publisher. (Who makes awful websites to boot!) I forget his name, but remember having the impression that he works out of his garage or basement.

I'm flabbergasted that this "co-loser" would have that kind of coin laying around to hand to Joe the non-plumber.

11. I don't think Joe the Plunger was "advanced" the $250k.
Edited on Fri Nov-21-08 12:09 AM by bluesbassman
Nobody is that stupid. Well, these are neocons we're talking about. Anyway, his "deal" might be "worth" $250k, IF they sell enough copies of the book that is.

Welcome to the world of publishing Joe, and good luck collecting your money.

edit for spelling. bbm

19. I'm going to send him a Dollar
and kick him up into the next Tax Bracket.. :)

There's a formula for figuring out how many books need to sell to make an offer like that, gonna poke around and find it, do the math and see how much Mulch he'll need to sell to make make that nut..

Meanwhile, guess I'll wait for The Movie :)

(in case folks don't know, and I'll get the link to it.. Tina Fey is getting a SIX Million dollar advance for a Humor book as yet to be described!! Read about it yesterday!)
