before discounting people remember |

even if connected to the bush admin many may have been advising but those in charge never heard anything that differentiated from what they wanted to hear
so before we toss out the "brain" of the entire GOP we should listen to those who tried to do right and were castigated and ignored for it
i am not offering a blanket forgiveness for bushies im just saying that many on the right did have differing opinions and differing ideas and were ignored in favor of the bushco agenda

I certainly don't agree with all of his positions, but he's someone I can imagine fitting in some niche in the Obama administration.
