1. I voted other.
Reich won't be trusted by progressives on Wall St. because he'll be perceived as too liberal. Summers has real baggage and is a slob. Krugman is an academic and I love him, but just because he has the right ideas, he might not be the right manager.

there are others also being considered. Let's look around further.

6. Paul Volker
He turned things around the last time & I think he would instill confidence in the markets. He's very old, but he could take it on for the first 2 years or so.

8. I Was Crucified Recently for Speaking Well of Volcker
but what people forget is that after he wrung out double-digit inflation, he pursued a very stimulative policy.

I'm not sure he's the ideal choice -- there may be a lot of good candidates who are not public names -- but there is no one in the mix now who can instill greater confidence.

9. Volcker may end up a caretaker 2-year Secreatry before handing the reins over to an Obamaite.

Enough of the predatory capitalist trickle down bullshit.

You want to know what the real definition of "trickle down" is?

Watch that video of Moosealini at the turkey farm from yesterday. Guess who's Wall Street and who's the turkey?
