Obama has a chance for an FDR legacy |
|
If he can sucessfully navigate two terms and steer us out of this mess, he has the potential to go down in history as the greatest Democratic president since FDR.
His responsibilities and duties will not be easy, but he can forge a legacy in his presidency that Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, LBJ, JFK and Truman never could.
I am excited, but nervous.

2. True - bad times make for great presidents... |
|
if he had followed Clinton he still could have been a solid competent pres but would have no real way to stand out
If he does it right - he can be one of the greats
