Steve Kroft has been interviewing Barack Obama for the last two years.....
a total of 6 times along the election journey to the Presidency,
the first time being a couple of weeks prior to Obama announcing his candidacy.

In this Charlie Rose interview, Kroft chronicles his professional and personal experience
relating to Barack Obama. Kroft started out this journey believing Obama's campaign as "absurd".
Kroft discusses his personal take on the man and how he, Obama, achieved success in overcoming the odds of being elected President.

He also discusses Michelle Obama and the relationship between the couple.

It was a very informative interview,
and provide some insight on the attributes that allowed Barack Obama to win the election.

It also shows that even smart people underestimate Barack Obama.

Kroft speaks of Obama's toughness, which I found fascinating.

I remember watching the 60 Minute Interview with both Barack and Joe Biden right after the Democratic Convention.

At one point, Kroft asks had Obama picked Biden to win over White voters without totally saying that. Obama face and body language was telling in an instant, as he states......"what reason is that sir?" -- It wasn't what he said, it is how Obama looked like he might have to kick some ass. It was one of those millisecond moment that said a lot about the fact that Barack Obama doesn't suffer fools at all.

It is clear this president isn't going to take any flack from the MSM.

He leaves no doubt who is in charge.

14. The RW is saying that Kroft probably went and picked up Obama's clothes from the cleaners

after that last 60 minute interview.

Guess they don't realize that the only reason some reporters have nice things to say about Obama,
is because they see what we, Obama supporters, see in him; the intelligence and common sense that has been lacking from the White House for 8 long miserable ineffective and totally destructive years.

17. It's an indication of how low this country has sunk

that a network journalist's seemingly honest, objective opinions of the president elect should be seen by the RW as something to mock.

Even more astounding is that to us the same honest opinions voiced openly on a public television show seem exceptional - something for us to get excited about and celebrate.

Imagine if the airwaves were filled with this kind of decent, objective journalism. What a different world it would be.

As a sidenote, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) was on Smiley Tavis' show last night. He has lost none of his magic, nor gentleness, nor droll sense of humor.
