A lot of Obama's economic policies will run through the Commerce Department |
|
Obama is smart. He's putting his allies in pivotal positions that are directly responsible for some of his more challenging but important initiatives and his rivals in positions where he may have to make some concessions.
SMART DUDE.
Obama's economic policies, dealing with job creation, business development, trade, urban and rural economic development, broadband development in rural communities, etc, will run through the Commerce Department.

1. Exactly! Some people are saying commerce is way down the totem pole |
|
but it really isn't. As I recall both Ron Brown and Bill Daley, Bill Clinton's two Commerce Secretaries, were very influential in the administration.
