I'm willing to bet if Obama picked you, I could find something in your past that would make you
unacceptable to yourself. Quit your bitching and moaning. You all worry too much about the theoretical at this point. Let him get his own damn team in place. He isn't going to make ideological statements with his picks. Get over it.

I have lived the life of an angel.
There is nothing in my past that could ever reflect negatively on me.

Bahahahahahahahahahahahaha...even I can't keep a straight face on that one. :silly:

9. There's a difference between legitimate debate and uninformed flailing.
For example, I have a right to criticize some one who just simply says the opposite of whatever I say in the course of a debate. That's not legitimate. 95% of the criticisms of Obama's cabinet have been baseless on this board. Most of them I notice are the same worry-bugs who kept saying stupid things about poll numbers because they had no understanding of statistics and then accused people such as myself of being fascist totalitarians for pointing out they had no idea what they were talking about and as such had no right to fill the board with useless worry. They are worthless, worthless people.

You have to be kind enough to propose something else. The status-quo is an option I suppose, but that would be an empty cabinet. I doubt anyone wants that.

Bill Richardson-Supported the Iraq War when it started.

Branson-Corporate whore.

Reich-Anyone who served with Clinton has radioactive poisoning.

Joe Wilson-Republicans would just make his life hell. We don't need constant proddings and investigations by vengeful Republicans.

The other two are nobodies.

because he rode a motorcycle and had the nickname of "wombat" at U of M.

My non-political judgement should count for SOMETHING. Yes?

Then I dated various reprobates with scandalous pasts (and presents) before settling on a CPA Republican who genially participated as my foil through over 30 years until his sad demise.

I would have such fun at a confirmation hearing -- bring it on!

If you are going to make a criticism, you have to have a suggestion. My suggestion is that they quite their bitching unless they have a cabinet choice they would prefer instead. It's far too intellectually feeble to just say "no".

And I 'could' have made a few hundred thousand if I'd said yes to a sheik or two, but could never have banked 20 million for being Dubai's handmaiden like Bill Clinton did. I would NEVER have done that for Dubai or any of BushInc's cronies. Would you?

I would like to think that I could draw the line on any number of issues, and face whatever consequences would follow, but I'm not sure that I would be able to live with myself if say my integrity came a cost to others. But I guess that is how it goes, and after a while you can justify anything.
