It's all Chris Matthews could talk about, other talking heads said the same thing, and there were plenty of posts here at DU speculating about her motives and what she'd do to take him down.

It turned out that Clinton stayed on message, was a team player, and did what she could to support Obama's campaign.

Now that it looks like she'll be SOS, all Chris Matthews can talk about is how she won't take direction from Obama and will push her own agenda.

My bet is that she'll stay on message, be a team player, and do what she can to support Obama's vision for the country.

They were everywhere.

Then when Hillary came through 1000% for Barack the same people expressed total shock that she did what she said she'd do.

4. seriously?
You don't remember the speculation that Clinton, in all her Lady McBethishness, would campaign halfheartedly or even scuttle Obama's campaign so that she could run in 2012?

Clearly, you don't watch MSNBC (good for you) and have a better ability to screen out useless information than I do.

5. Matthews loves to create conflict,
he knows it's what keeps his crappy show going. Just wait until he turns on Obama.....he always goes with however the political winds blow!

He was the biggest suck-up to Bush and promoted the war, I hope his show gets cancelled!

6. Excellent point. I was first disheartened by the SOS news. But then I had the exact same thought
that you just articulated. Hillary came through with flying colors. If she could do it during the primaries, why could she not do it as SOS.

I felt a lot better after thinking about it that way.
