The flippable states of 2012
These are the states that Obama won by less than 10%, plus the (margin of victory) for each state. In theory, the Republicans have an outside chance of turning these states around in the next election, although considerable levels of Obama screwing up might be required for some of these to happen.

North Carolina (0.3%)
Indiana (1.0%)
Florida (2.8%)
Ohio (3.7%)
Virginia (6.3%)
Colorado (8.7%)
Iowa (9.6%)
New Hampshire (9.7%)

These are McCain states with the tightest (margin of victory) rates. This is where the Democratic expansion should focus on next.

Missouri (0.1%)
Montana (2.5%)
Georgia (5.2%)
South Dakota (8.4%)
Arizona (8.5%)
North Dakota (8.6%)
South Carolina (9.0%)

Although I have no data to back this up, I think Arkansas, West Virginia, and Alaska should be on that hit list too.

2. Why are you worried about 2012? We have 2010 first.. and there is much
work to be done on that front.. I'd personally like to see more Progressive and Empathetic people elected into offices around the country.. People who will make it as mayors and council members and even the house and senate..

In FL, we have a Gov and a Sen up for election... I think its very possible to get rid of both of them, but knowing FL, they always float a DINO for those positions. Organization of Dems need drastic improvement in this state.. its often too hard to decipher between Dems and Reps.. they only care about the rich people... and damn the rest. They only want them to work in service of the rich.

3. Take a sledgehammer to every last electro-fraud machine
and watch ALL the states flip.

Well, OK.... maybe not Utah, Idaho, and the worst of the KKK Belt. But I'd settle for the rest of them.
