Understanding concerns of others.
I receive the publication "Foreign Affairs" published by the Council on Foreign Relations. I do this to get a sense of the current thought streams of the most influencial current political thinkers and movers and shakers of US policy and where it is heading as well as the schools of thought that will guide our future. Many of the policy ideas are brilliant and some are not and some aren't even desirable in the current political climate in the world. I do so because an informed electorate is less likely to be swayed into error by politicians with different agendas. It is from this cauldron of ideas our leaders choose our direction forward. For any who like to bash or ridicule their fellow Democrats, please keep in mind they may have legitimate concerns you may not see. Let them speak their piece.
