Obama, can you lay off our state ranks?
You are already going to devastate Arizona when you take Napolitano to Washington with you, but do you have to take Bill Richardson with you too for such an unimportant job like Commerce Secretary?

There are plenty of qualified people for that job, and you can pick one without depleting our state government ranks.

I just see no need to pick Bill Richardson for Commerce Secretary.. his job in New Mexico is far more important.

Other than that, Barack's picks for his cabinets have been excellent.

2. Better the states than the United States Congress. At least you know that your Dem
Lieutenant Governors will become Governor.

3. There is no Lt. Gov in Arizona!
The governorship goes to the wingnut Arizona Secretary of State!

4. Obama is going to devastae Arizona? I think the blame should lie on Janet, not Obama
If she wants to go, shes gonna go and should take any blame that goes along with that.

6. One person in a political party in state
should not devestate that state party by leaving.

Its a failure of the local party and that person for not training and recruiting successors.

5. Lets see what the Dept of Commerce supervise
Trade, Patents, Economic Statistics (which includes the Census), and Oceans and Atmospheric

http://www.commerce.gov/s/groups/public/@doc/@os/@opa/documents/content/prod01_004984.pdf

Lets see when you talk about renegotiating trade treaties on better terms for the American People in your campaign pledge and holding countries more accountable to trade treaties I guess the dept of commerce is "unimportant"

Oh yeah and the chinese ripping off our patents...unimportant.

Oh yeah and 2010 is a Census year...since that determines congressional representation and electoral votes...also unimportant.
