Traitorman on Meet The Press now
Seems to be repeating repug talking points about how Obama needs to work with Bush now.

10. That's the same as saying he thinks McCain lost because of Palin
only Lieberman's a complete coward because he won't come right out and say it like that.

12. He gave McCain a mulligan.
The Palin pick was an obvious failure and an embarrassing demonstration that McCain's impulsive style made him a lousy choice for president. Lieberman's choice came down to supporting his friend or supporting his country. "Country first" had to be the emptiest political slogan in recent times.

9. Here is what Obama should say though Axlerod or Rahm
"Look. Senator Liebermann campaigned against the president, against the president's agenda, against the people who are for the president's agenda. And he called the president a terrorist and a Marxist. He has earned the right to keep his committee chairmanships through his experience and seniority. But if he thinks he's going to suddenly be pals with us he is really kidding himself"

13. Holy Joe did squirm a little
Brokaw pressed him on his professed "regret" over his statements - would he apologize? Joe looked flustered and repeated his "regret" but soon regained his insufferable p**** smirk.

15. I was surprised Brokaw pushed him that hard.
He brought it up 4 or 5 times about "did he regret anything" "thing you most regret saying" "What about Palin, was she really more qualified than Obama?" etc. etc. Of course, Joe always replied with "We're focusing on the future not the past."

Ugh. He couldn't get off the screen fast enough for me.
