Did anyone else see Austan Goolsbee on Face the Nation today?
What did you think?


He got into the mix up in March about NAFTA with the Clinton campaign.

I found him funny, straight forward, and understandable. I'm not an economic guru by any means but he explained some of what has been happening with Bush and the American economy.


What is he known for?

1. he's known for being very bright - I see him in a more senior role
in Obama's 2nd term. But, I had thought he would be OMB chief this time around, and maybe stepping into Sec. Treasury after the Bush Recession is over.
